Mirtoselect refers to Indena’s standardized bilberry extract. It is made only from fresh bilberry fruits that grow wild in rugged, hilly places in central and northern Europe. Bilberry is harvested when they are ripe between the months of July to September with thorough quality control.
It is an ingredient containing bilberry extract and pine bark extract.
Please consult your physician or family doctor before giving any supplements to your children.
There are no worries of overdose if both supplements are taken within their suggested daily dosage. However, there may be a possibility of yellowish discoloration to the skin (carotenodermia). We strongly recommend you do not consume MIRTO+ and Super Lutein together. Choose either supplement and consume within recommended dosage.
As always, you should consult with your physician before adding anything new to your health program if you are taking prescription drugs. If you have any concerns, please consult with your family doctor or pharmacist beforehand.
When the vitamin E is isolated from the soybean oil, it is purified. During the purification process, other parts of the soybean plant are left out. The “other parts” means the flavonoids (phytoestrogens and isoflavones plus other food allergens) are removed and separated from the vitamin E. So, yes, the Vitamin E found in MIRTO+ is safe.
The vitamin is derived from soybean oil cake, which are the remnants after removing all the oil. There are no proteins in the extract, meaning the extract will not trigger allergies.
Palm oil is the source of Alpha-carotene and Beta-carotene. The product only contains roughly 3mg of palm oil in the formula (note that this number does not mean it is comprised entirely of saturated fats). The amount found in nutritional supplements is negligible, and is safe to consume.
